परम पूज्य श्री महेश प्रकाश शर्मा जी महाराज दो महान विभूतियों की परम्परा के उत्तराधिकारी हैं — पूज्यपाद नैष्ठिक ब्रह्मचारी श्री जीवनदत्त जी महाराज, जिन्होंने नरवर धाम की नींव रखी, और ब्रह्मलीन पं॰ विजय प्रकाश शर्मा जी — उनके पिता — जिन्होंने इस परम्परा को चार दशकों तक सींचा।
Param Pujya Shri Mahesh Prakash Sharma Ji Maharaj is the inheritor of two great presences — Pujyapad Naishthik Brahmachari Shri Jeevan Datt Ji Maharaj, who laid the foundation of Narwar Dham, and Brahmleen Pt. Vijay Prakash Sharma Ji — his father — who nurtured this tradition over four decades.
सन् १९९१ से | Since 1991
सन् १९९१ से वे श्री सिद्धेश्वरी साधनापीठ के संरक्षक और श्री साङ्गवेद महाविद्यालय के संचालक हैं। उनके नेतृत्व में धाम की परम्परा, अनुष्ठान और शिक्षा निरन्तर जारी है।
Since 1991, he has been the Guardian of Sri Siddeshwari Sadhnapith and custodian of Shri Sangved Mahavidyalaya. Under his stewardship, the tradition, rituals and learning of the Dham continue without interruption.
सम्पूर्णानन्द संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय — सम्मान

सन् १९९९ में, भारत सरकार द्वारा घोषित संस्कृत वर्ष के अवसर पर, सम्पूर्णानन्द संस्कृत विश्वविद्यालय, वाराणसी ने परम पूज्य श्री महेश प्रकाश शर्मा जी महाराज को सम्मानपत्र प्रदान किया।
In 1999, on the occasion of the Government of India declared Sanskrit Year, Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi honoured Param Pujya Shri Mahesh Prakash Sharma Ji Maharaj with the Samman Patra.
साधनापीठ आज | The Sadhnapith Today
परम पूज्य महेश प्रकाश शर्मा जी महाराज के संरक्षण में श्री सिद्धेश्वरी साधनापीठ आज भी गंगाजी के तट पर उसी श्रद्धा, साधना और सेवा के साथ जीवित है जो पूज्यपाद जीवनदत्त जी महाराज की थी।
Under the custodianship of Param Pujya Mahesh Prakash Sharma Ji Maharaj, Sri Siddeshwari Sadhnapith continues today on the banks of the Ganga — with the same devotion, sadhana and spirit of service that was Pujyapad Jeevan Datt Ji Maharaj's own.
